Writing bullet points has never been easier

I HAVE NEVER FOUND A BULLET POINT FORMULA EASIER THAN THIS...


When writing bullet points for your product or service follow this simple formula of questions:


1. What is the feature? E.g. Airbags.


2. What is the feature’s advantage? E.g. Gold-plated sensors.


3. What is the benefit? E.g. Assurance that the airbag will go off when you need it because the sensors won’t rust.


4. What’s the benefit of the benefit? E.g. It’s going to save your life. It’ll save your daughter’s life. It’ll save your family’s life.


The benefit of the benefit is what you need to connect with people in your message. This will become your bullet point.


But...how do you find what the benefit of the benefit is?


Ask yourself this... 


“So what that means is…”


For example: 


“This program is going to help you get into shape and get a sixpack. What that means is you’ll be able to fit back into that dress you love. You’ll feel more confident in yourself.”
